Built an ongoing relationship with one client, based on the introduction of one individual. This individual has radically re-shaped the Mortgage proposition in their business and has been responsible for a period of unprecedented growth in a declining market. From this introduction, I have leveraged an intimate partnership within their change function and have helped their business build an entirely new team, which is currently reshaping the face of the Retail Proposition.

Hi Carylann, I would love to help, but Finance really isn't my strength. If you have experience of Corporate Finance, my advice would be to go onto Banking websites and type that in, you may get a variety of associated product areas. Similarly if you google the phrase, you will get articles and all sorts. Finally, if you google "jobs""corporate finance" that will give you a flavour of what is being advertised out there. You need a niche within that area where there is a real need /growth. If you apply your thinking cap to the recession and where Finance needs top resource to drive business, you will be heading in the right direction. The market needs to be desperate for them, but there also needs to be enough of them for it to be a real market, not just one or two placements for a lot of effort. My space is Retail Banking, so Finance is a mystery to me... Good luck.
Hi Ben. We haven't met but i work for John Jebb in York. I'm completing by MSc in Economics and Finance from University of York and currently in search of starting a career in Investment Banking. I have some experience working in Infrastructure Finance(part of corporate finance) in India. Any ideas where I could go from here?
Best Regards, Carylann.
Hi Mike, thanks for the note. As most of my work is UK-centric, it is unlikely that you will be able to help however I have recruited from NY to London in the past for international Insurance, so I will certainly bear you in mind. Likewise if you need any help recruiting for clients in the UK, I would be happy to see where I can add value. Have a great day. Regards, Ben.
